Submit news

Raw or covered news
Print, broadcast or online media news that you have found. Ideally local media.
Anything that you or someone you know has witnessed that could be an attempt to hijack the election. Ideally you will have video or photos and can provide a brief report that provides context.
For security, we have no problem if you prefer to provide a username that isn't your real name.   Just be sure to remember it!
We use Protonmail for reasonably secure email communication.   Protonmail does offer free accounts.   Curating both raw and covered news that comes in is very labor intensive.   When you complete this brief form, you will receive an email that will include a longer form that you can complete.   This extra step provides better security.   We don't want to publish "fake" news.

If you don't have a Protonmail account, consider getting one:  https://protonmail.com before submitting your news-story.   We do understand that if you have timely, important raw news it may be more important to just send with an email account you already have rather than delaying.

We play fair.  Election hijackers don't.
For raw news items, the date someone saw or heard something worth considering.   For covered news, if a news item has a primary focus on an event, provide the date of that event, even if the covered news refers to other events to provide context.

We are interested in breaking news and coverage that provides depth and analysis.  If you are submitting an article that provides background and does not focus on an event, please put in the date 11/11/11, the date of an unusual cold-snap in some midwestern states.

IMPORTANT:  Keeping up with duplicate stories and verifying news is labor intensive, interesting, learnable and a great way to do your part protecting the vote.  We provide training via Zoom session.  Consider volunteering to help edit/curate these submissions.
